van Gogh styled art

We are learning to paint like Van Gogh. We have read lots of books and watched some tutorials. We've experimented with painting our portraits and now we have had a go at painting sunflowers.

I am proud of the short brush strokes.

The most challenging part was the sunflowers.

If I were to do it again I would try do better sunflowers.

We watched this video before starting to help us with our painting.
when we were painting we did short brush strokes.To make them first we made the pot with pencil. then the flowers and the stalks. then we painted the background blue. then we painted the flowers then the table and pot. then with chalk we did the stalks.

   I think I did pretty well for the special person poem. that stuff was also kind of true.
